Job Title: Paving Coordinator
Job Summary: The Paving Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating paving projects, including managing schedules, monitoring production quantities, and ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards. This role involves collaboration with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate the smooth execution of paving operations while maintaining cost control and ensuring high-quality results.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of paving projects to ensure timely and efficient execution.
- Prepare and update project schedules, ensuring alignment with overall construction timelines.
- Scheduling and receiving of paving materials.
- Monitor production quantities and ensure all paving activities meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Provide technical advice and recommendations for improvements or modifications in paving operations.
- Collaborate with project teams to analyze project plans, survey reports, and site conditions to optimize paving operations.
- Inspect paving sites to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and sanitation standards.
- Estimate quantities and costs of materials, equipment, and labor to assess project feasibility and maintain budget control.
- Prepare and present reports on project progress, production metrics, and budget adherence to senior management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in construction project coordination, paving operations, or related fields.
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in analyzing technical documents such as blueprints, maps, and survey reports.
- Experience in cost estimation and budget management for paving or construction projects.
- Willingness to travel as needed for project oversight.
