Job Title:  Wet Utilities Superintendent

Job Summary:  

We are seeking an experienced Wet Utilities Superintendent to oversee and manage the installation of underground water, sewer, and storm drainage systems. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to drive projects to completion while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee all phases of wet utility construction, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Lead and mentor crews, providing guidance on installation methods, safety, and quality control.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless workflow.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including OSHA, DOT, and MSHA requirements.
• Proactively address challenges such as unforeseen site conditions, weather delays, and material shortages.
• Conduct daily site inspections to maintain high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Maintain detailed project documentation and provide regular progress reports.
• Monitor equipment and material usage, ensuring proper maintenance and inventory control.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in wet utilities or underground construction.
• Strong knowledge of underground water, sewer, and drainage systems.
• Proven leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
